Reid, J. 1837-10-03. Mr. James Reid exhibited to the Meeting, and characterized as new, under the name of Obscurus, a dark-coloured monkey, from the Society's collection, belonging to the genus _Semnopithecus._. Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1837:14.
