Ogilby, W. 1838-07. A selection of the Mammalia procured by Captain Alexander during his recent journey into the country of the Damaras, on the South West Coast of Africa, was exhibited, and Mr. Ogilby directed the attention of the Society to the new and rare species which it contained. Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1838(61):5-6.
