previously included populations now attributed to N. hlandzeni; moved from Hypsugo to Neoromicia; sometimes spelt 'anchieta', but 'anchietae' is considered a justified emendation and is retained despited not matching the original description (see Kock, 2001 and Grubb, 2004)
